EVO Shift 4G Hands On Pics and Video

Another phone that we got our hands on in the HTC meeting at CES is the HTC EVO Shift 4G from Sprint. We were very excited to get to hold this device being that we have been following it from the time that we first heard a rumor about it with the name Knight.
So first initial thought of the device without the keyboard pulled out was that this was a mini EVO with the little circle style soft touch buttons on bottom.

The 3.7 inch (800 x 480) SLCD Screen was very nice and to be honest this whole entire phone feels a lot like the G2 to us. The keyboard has really nice rubberized keys to type on and the slider mechanism felt solid although it is different than the G2 slider. The processor is also the same 800MHz processor that is powering the G2 that has been over clocked to ridiculous levels.

This phone was lacking front camera but has a 8MB rear camera with a dual-led flash which is bound to result in very good stills. Android 2.2 is running the device along with Sense overlaid on top and we expect this device to be available any day now with the January 9th release date rumored. This device is another killer phone on Sprint that will be one more to choose from to run on that 4G network!
